End of the Adventure

We go home tomorrow. Our holiday has just raced by.

Dad says to start the day with a balanced meal.  Dad is very wise.


Last night we went to an  NHL Hockey game.  It was the Anaheim Ducks vs the San Jose Sharks.

Nerhys ended up on the giant screen for her crazy dancing.



Today we went to the La Brea Tar Pits.  Thousands of years ago animals got trapped in asphalt that bubbled to the surface.  People drilling for oil in 1913 discovered thousands of fossils.  Fossils are still being excavated to this day.  So far over 600 different animal species have been discovered and around 4 million fossils recovered.
